From Jorhat or Dibrugarh airport to Mon town of Nagaland. Night stay at Mon.
After breakfast Mon to Logwa village of India-Myanmar border. This is a very unique Konyak village situated on an international border. The LogwaAngh’s(King’s)house is situated in the middle of the border of India and Myanmar. One half of the Angh’shouse falls within Indian territory, whereas the other half lies under Myanmar control. However, the whole village is controlled by the Angh. Exploring Logwa till evening. Visit the houses of traditional head-hunters ,Gun making traditional houses, traditional Blacksmith house and then return to Mon by night. Night stay at Mon.
Mon to Hongphoi village. Hongphoi, situated in Mon district of Nagaland is famous for the last traditional head-hunters of Nagaland. Though their headhunting culture has gone long ago but they still found in their full attire of the old glorious days. Night stay at Mon.
