Itinerary
From Dibrugarh airport to Farm Stay/ Eco Camp near Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. Afternoon boat ride at Motapung/Maguri Wetland. Night at Farm Stay/Eco Camp.
Morning Boat ride at Motapung /Maguri Wetlands to witness the migratory duck flocks. Lunch at Farm Stay/Eco Camp. After lunch A ferry ride to Dibru-Saikhowa national Park and trekking inside national Park till evening. Owling at nearby areas by night. Night stay at Farm Stay/Eco Camp.
After breakfast travel to Dehing Patkai National Park from Dibru-Saikhowa. After check -in to Eco Camps, we start our journey inside the deep woodlands of DehingPatkai. Either by trekking or by Jeep we try explore the vast wilderness of DehingPatkai. A full day trek till evening. Night stay at Eco Camps.
Today is the second day inside this lovely rainforest of Upper Assam also known as ‘Amazon of the East’. Today we travel to another range of the park, known as Jeypore. Explore the Jungle till late in the afternoon then return back to our Eco Camps for night stay.
After an early breakfast we proceed to picturesque Roing town of Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh. Roing serves as the base camp for our next adventure of Mishmi Hills. After Lunch we take a birding tour to nearby Mehao Wildlife sanctuary and it’s adjacent areas. Night stay at Roing.
After breakfast proceed towards Mayodia pass. An eastern Himalayan Pass with an altitude of 2,655 metres the area in and around Mayodia is serves as one of bio diversity hotspots of North East India. The Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary which lies till Mayodia is the home to most elusive and endangered species like Red Panda, Clouded Leopard, Musk Deer etc. Birds like Great Hornbills are very common along road side. After completing a day long trip to Mayodia Pass we returned to camp/homestay by evening. Night stay at Roing.
This is our final Day of this lovely trip. After breakfast we return to Dibrugarh airport from Roing crossing the mighty Lohit.
