Parasuramkundis a sacred pilgrimage site located in the Lohit district of ArunachalPradesh, India.
It holds immense religious significance, especially among Hindus, and is associated with the sage Parashurama, one of the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu.
Every year in January, thousands of pilgrims from across India, especially from the Northeast, Assam, Bihar and also from Nepal visit Parasuramkund to take a holy dip in the Lohit River during Makar Sankranti, Celebrated in the month of January.
