Kohima local sightseeing ( War Cemetery etc.) including a journey to Kisama heritage village (12KM from Kohima Town),the permanent venue of the famous Hornbill festival held in December. Return to Kohima by evening. Night stay at Kohima.

The upcoming two days are reserved for real adventure! First we travel to Viswema village of Nagaland from Kohima. Distance to cover is 22 KM. Viswema serves as the starting point for the famous Dzokou Valley trek. From here our guides and porters take full responsibility of our guest and we continue our trekking to the base camp of Dzokou valley.  The trail includes a mix of steep climbs, rocky terrain, and gradual inclines, especially through forests and towards the base camp.It’s an approx.10 Km trek and takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete. Night stay at campsite at Dzokou valley base camp.

Return trek to Viswema village from Dzokou valley. Then from Viswema to Kohima town. Night stay at Kohima.

Kohima to Dimapur Railway Junction or Guwahati Airport.
