Welcome to East India Expeditions. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any bookings.

1. Definitions

“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us” refers to East India Expeditions.

“Client”, “you”, “your” refers to the person using our services or making a booking.

“Services” means the travel packages, tours, trekking, camping, birding, and related services offered on our website.

2. Use of Website

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only.

You must not attempt to misuse the website, hack into accounts, or disrupt services.

All content on the website (text, images, logos) is the property of East India Expeditions and may not be copied or reproduced without prior permission.

3. Booking & Payment

Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full or partial advance payment as specified during booking.

Payment Options

Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment to our office or by Demand Draft / Cheque. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.

Any balance amount must be paid before or at the start of the tour, unless otherwise agreed.

Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change based on availability, seasonal fluctuations, or government regulations.

Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment.

4. Travel Documents & Permits

Clients must carry valid identity proof (passport, Aadhaar, or other government ID).

For restricted or protected areas in North East India, required permits will be arranged by us or must be obtained as per instructions.

International travelers must have valid passports, visas, and any mandatory permits.

5. Health & Safety

Some tours (trekking, camping, birding) may involve physical activity. Clients must ensure they are medically fit.

Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

The Company is not liable for accidents, injuries, illness, or loss of belongings during the tour.

6. Responsibilities of Clients

Follow the instructions of guides and staff during the tour.

Respect local customs, culture, wildlife, and environment.

Avoid activities that are unsafe, illegal, or disruptive.

You are responsible for your personal belongings throughout the trip.

7. Limitation of Liability

East India Expeditions acts as a facilitator between clients and third-party service providers (hotels, transport, guides, etc.).

We are not liable for delays, losses, accidents, natural calamities, strikes, political unrest, or other events beyond our control.

Our maximum liability is limited to the cost paid by the client for the specific service.

8. Modifications to Itinerary

Tour itineraries are subject to change due to weather, road conditions, permit issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative of similar value.

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels,Guest House etc. Hotels retains the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or Guest House etc.

To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.

9. Inclusions And Exclusions

Inclusions
Accommodation as mentioned sharing basis and mentioned meal plan.
All transportation will be organized by us through an dedicated air-conditioned vehicle with a professional driver.
Inner Line Permit for Arunachal Pradesh and processing fees cost is included.
Pickup and drop from mentioned Airport / Railway station/Bus station.
All sightseeing, land transfer & inter hotel transfer.
Driver allowance, Toll, Parking, Road Tax, Fuel charge, night halt, Interstate charges, 
Child below 5 yrs sharing same bed with parents will be according to hotel rules.

Exclusions:
All personal expenses including all other activities not mentioned in the itinerary.
Meals those not available on the itinerary.
Optional around Tawang sightseeing (Bumla Pass, PTSO Lake, Naghula Lake, Sangester Lake etc.) taxi fare is not included in the package (Mandatory local taxi required for sightseeing).
Entry fees of sightseeing spots, camera fees and optional activity/service costs like Rafting, Trekking, Guide fees etc are not included in the package.
Anything not mentioned in the ‘Inclusions’ part.
For Foreign Nationals, surcharges like national park entry fees, Protected Area Permit and mandatory guide fees (for Arunachal State trips) are excluded.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Guwahati, Assam.
